2 Peter 3:3-4
3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”
Luke 21:25-28
25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
Matthew 24:35-36
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Signs That Have Already Happened
a. The Destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple
Luke 21:20-24
20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. (see also Matthew 13:2 and Mark 13:2)
It all started back in 66AD…..
A large group of Jews tricked and attacked the Roman soldiers at home, killing every single one of them.
Did anyone remembered this….?
Luke 21:20
20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.
Josephus-
Ancient Jewish historian, his writings are often used to support Biblical ideas and history. He was there at the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, and as horrible as that event was, he managed to write everything down. Plus many, many others historical events.
“Ah, my countrymen,” he cried, “we did nothing without God in the past, but now you are fighting against Him. Had God judged you worthy of freedom, He would have punished the Romans as He did the Assyrians long ago. God is fled out of your holy place, and stands on the side of those against whom you fight!”
-Josephus 70ADb.
b. The Gospel Preached
Matthew 24:14
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Acts 8:5
Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.
