Wonderful are Your works,

And my soul knows it very well.

Do you want to please God? It MUST be through faith:

Hebrews 11:6 NLT

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him

must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

  1. What are some things you can recall from the Bible about the apostle Peter?
  2. Read 1 Peter 1:1-3, what is grace? Can you earn grace from God if so how, if not why? Are we able to give grace to others?  Why or why not?
  3. What does it mean to be “born again”? Is there a way to verify if you have been born again or not?
  4. Is the word “justification” used in the bible? What is a way to find out whether or not it is used?  If it is used, how many times is it used?_______  What is the definition of the word found in a bible dictionary?  When are you justified?
  5. Read 1 Peter 4-8, what is faith? What are some life examples of faith?
  6. Does everyone go through trials? Is there a way to avoid trials?  Why does God allow us to go through trials?
  7. Read Romans 8:29, what does it mean to be “conformed to the image of His Son”?
  8. Read Malachi 3:2, how is Jesus like a refiner’s fire?
  9. What is sanctification? Are all believers being sanctified?  Why or why not?
  10. Is there some trial in your life that you just don’t understand why God would allow you to go through it? Do you have a person that is strong in their faith that you can reach out to one on one for guidance?  God puts other believers in your life to help you.  Please consider reaching out to someone this week to come alongside you in your trial.
