  1. Read 2 Corinthians 11:1-2, what is a “godly jealousy”? What does it mean that we are “promised you to one husband”?  How are we presented as a pure virgin to God?

  2. Read 2 Corinthians 11:3-4, were both Adam and Eve deceived by the serpent? How can we know what God says if we don’t hear directly from Him?

  3. Read 2 Timothy 4:3-4, why might it be an issue to look for a church that will suit our own desires?  What do you think Paul means in verse 4 when he says “preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached”?  What are some ways we can tell which Jesus is the “right” Jesus?

  4. How do we know what scripture is from God and what scripture is not from God?

  5. What are some traits that can be attributed to Jesus in the Bible?

  6. What is a cult? What are some characteristics of beliefs that might be considered cult beliefs?

  7. Read 2 Corinthians 11:5-9, what is the “gospel of God” in verse 7? Look up the word for “gospel” in a concordance/interlinear.  What is the word in the original language and what does it mean?

  8. What do you think Paul means in verse 8 that he “robbed other churches”?

  9. Read 2 Corinthians 11:10-15, what is an apostle? Is Paul an apostle?  Why or why not.  What are some ways we can masquerade as servants of righteousness?

  10. Please continue to pray for God’s guidance for the church and that God would put on your heart someone this week to talk to about Jesus.

Isaiah 40:8 NIV

but the word of our God endures forever.”
