Context:

A long time enemy of the Israelites, the _________________ have been battling with David.

We are Not Accidents!

Justice:  we are punished in ___________to what we have done wrong.

4. Read 2 Samuel 6:5-10, do you think Uzzah deserved to die for what he did? What does “fear of the Lord” mean in the Bible?

5. Read Psalm 138:13-14, what does it mean to be “fearfully and wonderfully made”? If we are made could we be here by accident?  What is our purpose on earth?  If we are made, do we belong to the One who made us?

6. What is justice? What is mercy?  What is grace?

7. Read 2 Samuel 6:11-13, why do you think David sacrificed some animals? Are Christians required to sacrifice anything? Why or why not?

8. What does it mean to “quench the Spirit”?

9. What does a priest do in the Bible?

10. Read James 3:16, what is jealousy? Is it a sin?
