    • Areas that still need to be covered. If interested, contact Dan Hall:
      • Tech—Audio/Video and worship lyric technician.
      • IT/Hardware—manage the various connections of the service IT components/internet/wifi, etc.
      • Worship team/leader—play an instrument? Able to carry a tune?  Ready to use that gift for God?
      • Donut & Coffee Ministry—bring in donuts and make that oh so important drink for many of us, coffee!
  • A Search Team will be put together to start the process of finding a new pastor.
    • The typical time to replace a Pastor is 12-18 months. Please wait on the Lord with us!
    • The team will update the church regularly
  • Prayer is a critical part of this process! Please pray continually for the board’s guidance in seeking God’s will.

Reminder to bring your bible to church with you each week going forward as we dig into God’s Word together!  We have free copies that are just waiting for you to use!

The board is working on setting up Zelle to use for a digital option for giving.  Should have it up and running in January!

 

  1. Why was Corinth an important trade center? What are some things you know about ancient Corinth?  What are some of the problems they were having in the church?

  2. How many missionary journey’s did the apostle Paul go on?

  3. Read 2 Corinthians 2:12-14, why is it important as Christians that we properly conduct ourselves in the world?

  4. What is grace? Where does it come from?  What does it mean if we extend grace to others?  Are we commanded in scripture to extend grace to others?

  5. Read 2 Corinthians 2:15-16, where is Macedonia?  What are some of the ways that we can say “yes” but we really mean “no” or vice versa?

  6. Read Matthew 5:37, what is the context of this verse? What do you think this verse means?

  7. Read 2 Corinthians 2:17-18, what does the word “Amen” mean?  What does it mean that God’s promises are ““Yes” in Christ”?  Do all promises in the Bible apply to everyone?  Why or why not?

  8. Read Matthe 7:15-20, what are some ways that we can spot a “wolf” in the church?  What does it mean in verse 20 that “by their fruit you will recognize them”?  What does fruit mean in regards to this verse?

  9. What do you think is the most important aspect of church?

  10. Please pray for God’s guidance in the New Year for you personally and for the church.
