1. What are some of the prophecies that predicted Jesus 1^st coming that we’ve went over in this series?

2. Why might these prophecies caused issues with the Jewish people at the time of Jesus?

3. Read Psalm 22:1-4, what does the word for “forsake” mean in the original language? What language is the New Testament written in?  What are some things that might interfere with out communication with God?

4. Read Psalm 22:5-10, what is a “Psalm”? What is the fulfillment of these verses in the New Testament?  How often do we ridicule others?  What is empathy?  What are some ways we can be empathetic?

5. Read 1 Peter 3:8-9, what are some ways we may have failed in regards to these instructions? Consider some of the people in your life who have been a blessing.  What are some of the traits of that person?

6. Read Psalm 22:11-16, if you wanted to look up what is meant by “strong bulls of Bashan”, how could you go about doing that? What is being referred to in these verses?

7. Did Jesus give us commandments? What is a commandment?  What are some of the things that Jesus commanded us to do?  Are we obligated to follow the commandments in the Old Testament?  Why or why not?

8. If we have an issue with another believer, what are some of the ways that should be handled? Are there any ways it should not be handled?

9. How are people saved from going to hell? Is there only one way that people are saved?  Is there anything a person has to do to be saved?

10. Is there some need in the community that you feel the church could help out with? Maybe God has put something on your heart for a while now. Will you bring it to the church for consideration?
