      • Donut & Coffee Ministry—bring in donuts and make that oh so important drink for many of us, coffee!
  • A Search Team will be put together to start the process of finding a new pastor.
    • The typical time to replace a Pastor is 12-18 months. Please wait on the Lord with us!
    • The team will update the church regularly
  • Prayer is a critical part of this process! Please pray continually for the board’s guidance in seeking God’s will.

Zelle:  The board is working on setting up Zelle to use for a digital option for giving.  Will have it up and running in January!

 

  1. How many missionary trips did Paul go on that a recorded in the Bible? Approximately how many miles did he cover on those trips?  How many books of the New Testament did Paul write?

  2. What are some of the issues in the church in Corinth? Why do you think Paul would want to plant a church there?

  3. Read 2 Corinthians 3:1-3, why do you think the church in Corinth might be asking for letters of recommendation from Paul?

  4. Did Paul meet Jesus personally? If so, cite the scripture(s) that show this.

  5. What are the group called in the church who are possibly holding on to the old ways of doing things? How can the church today hold onto the old ways of doing things?  Can holding onto the old ways be a good thing a bad thing (or both)? Cite examples of each.

  6. What are some things we can add to Jesus sacrifice for our salvation? Is this a problem?  Why or why not?

  7. Read Hebrews 9:22, what is meant by “purified with blood”?

  8. Read 2 Corinthians 3:4-9, what does the phrase “of the letter” mean in verse 6?

  9. Read Exodus 32:6, what are some of the alternative interpretations of this scripture? Are alternative interpretations of scripture ok or should there only be one interpretation.

  10. Romans 4:15 says that the law brings death.  What does that mean?

  11. Read 2 Corinthians 3:10-16, what is the veil that covers their hearts in verse 15?

  12. Please pray that God would place someone in your life this week to tell about Jesus!

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
