  2. Why is David always on the run in 1st Samuel?

  3. Read 1 Samuel 24:1-4, how can we tell if advice we get from other’s is Godly or not? Why do you think David would cut off a corner of Saul’s robe?

  4. Read 1 Samuel 24:5-8, what do you think David’s heart “struck him”? How can we tell if our own heart feelings are from God or are not?  Does God think about us?  Why or why not?

  5. Read Jeremiah 29:11, what hope do we have in Jesus? What is our future for those who are in Jesus?

  6. Can you recall from memory some of scriptures around Moses and Pharoah? If you wanted to do a quick search on where to find the verses in the Bible, how would you do that?

  7. Why do you think David would bow his face and pay homage to Saul in verse 8?

  8. Is everyone a child of God? Why or why not?  Read John 8:42-44.  If someone asked you how they could become a child of God and had little or no experience with church, how would you answer them?

  9. Read 1 Samuel 24:9-13, why do you think David does not seek revenge for what Saul is doing to him?

  10. Read Lamentations 3:25, how can we know we should be waiting for God or when we should do something for God?

  11. Please continue to pray for God’s guidance and His will for the church.
