Context:
Goliath, a man who is estimated to be approx. ________ feet tall would come down into the valley daily to taunt the Israelites. He is with the army of the ___________ an ancient enemy of the Israelites.
David was a _____________, one of the lowest jobs you could have at the time. David could have went back into Isolation watching sheep but instead he chose to take on ___________ head on.

Read 1 Samuel 17:45-47, in verse 47 it reads “the battle is the Lord’s”. Is that always the case? Why or why not?

Is there some Goliath battle in your life that you need to surrender to the Lord? It’s so easy to try and take it on in our own limited power and get burned out. Reach out in prayer and surrender it to the Lord.
