1. What are some of the events that have happened so far in this series?

2. How does John’s gospel differ from the other 3 gospels?

3. Read John 4:46-49, what are “signs and wonders” in verse 48 that the people wanted to see to believe? Is seeing always believing?  Can you think of some times when seeing is not believing?

4. What is prayer? Is there a right way to pray and a wrong way to pray?  If so what are they?  Use your Bible or Bible app to find some of the times Jesus was praying.  Is there anything we can learn from those prayers?

5. Read John 4:50-54, if someone you came across who didn’t know anything at all about Jesus or the Bible asked you what faith is, how would you explain it?

6. Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17, is there anything in addition to the items listed here that the Bible shows us? What is meant by “inspired by God” in verse 16?

7. Read Romans 8:28, who does this verse apply to? Is anyone excluded from this verse?  Why or why not?

8. When the Bible talks about our “flesh” or “fleshy desires” what does it mean? What is a soul?  Does everyone have a soul and a spirit, why or why not?

9. Read Mark 11:24, does this verse mean that God will give us everything that we pray for? Why or why not?

10. What are some of the ways God answers prayers for healing?

11. For believers today, what happens to them when they die? How about unbelievers?
