What has stood out to you the most in the study of 2 Corinthians?
-
Read 2 Corinthians 8:13-15, what does it mean to be hard pressed? What are some ways we have been hard pressed in our lives?
-
What is the Exodus? What are some of the events that correspond to it? What is “manna”? What does the word mean in the original language? What is the signficance of manna?
-
What is faith? Does everyone have it? If not, where do you get it? If so, how can someone get more of it? Does faith get you into heaven?
-
Read Romans 10:17 in two or 3 different translations. Are they all exactly the same? If someone were to tell you that your Bible has a lot of inconsistencies and is inaccurate, how would you answer that question?
-
Read James 1:5, what is wisdom? What do you think is meant by “finding fault”?
-
Read 2 Corinthians 8:16-17, who is Titus? If you wanted to know more about him, what are some ways to do that? Do you think there is anything note worthy when Paul says “on his own initiative” in verse 17th?
-
Read 2 Corinthians 8:20-22, can we always do what is right “in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man.” Why or why not? Would someone classify you as “zealous” for the Lord?
-
Read Romans 2:18, what do you think is meant by this verse?
-
Would your self-written obituary before you knew Jesus vs. after you started following him look any different?
-
Continued prayers that God would provide opportunities to share the gospel message with someone in our lives this week!!
Romans 10:17 NIV
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
