- Worship team/leader—play an instrument? Able to carry a tune? Ready to use that gift for God?
- Donut & Coffee Ministry—bring in donuts and make that oh so important drink for many of us, coffee!!!

A Search Team will be put together to start the process of finding a new pastor.
The typical time to replace a Pastor is 12-18 months. Please wait on the Lord with us!
The team will update the church regularly
Prayer is a critical part of this process! Please pray continually for the board’s guidance in seeking God’s will.

Who is Samuel in the Bible? What are some of the similarities between Samuel and Jesus?
Who was the first king of Israel? What are some of the things you can recall about him?
Read 1 Samuel 8:4-7, why do you think the Israelites would reject God from being their King? What are some of the ways we can reject God today?
Read 1 Samuel 16:1-5, what does it mean to “sacrifice to the Lord”, in verse. Are there any sacrifices required today, why or why not?
Read 1 Samuel 16:6-10, what are some ways we can judge by appearance? What are some things the Bible tells us about the heart?
Read Psalm 139:23-24, why do you think the Psalmist would ask God to “test” him? What are some ways God tests us?
Read 1 Samuel 16:11-14, what does it mean to be “anointed”? Are Christians anointed? Verse 14 says that the “Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul”. Can God’s Spirit depart from a Christian? Why or why not?
Is there someone in your life that you possibly have judged by an outward appearance? Pray that God would give you opening to get to know that person better this week.
